BDSA collects non-personally-identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. BDSA's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how BDSA's visitors use its website. From time to time, BDSA may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. BDSA also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. BDSA only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
We will gather certain attributes for GreenEdge users that may be considered PII. That said, we will not share or misuse this information and it's only intended for BDSA internal operations. The amount and type of information that BDSA gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who register on GreenEdge to provide first name, last name, and email address.
The security of your PII is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee its absolute security as no web application can.
BDSA will collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website. BDSA will only display this information internally and it will not be shared with the general public.
